Export Bahrain, BCCI sign MoU to bolster business ecosystem in region

Export Bahrain has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) with the aim of increasing business facilitation and providing essential and integral support for Bahrain-based businesses to access global markets through Export Bahrain solutions.

Under the agreement, Export Bahrain and BCCI will unify their efforts to bolster the cornerstones of the business community in Bahrain to attract strategic investment partnerships and enhance the competitive work environment in the Kingdom through the exchange of knowledge, statistics, market regulations, expertise, research, and mutual exchange of delegations to augment exports of national products and services.

The strategic partnership will serve the exporters in the Kingdom of Bahrain to utilize the facilitations provided through the diversified range of services and solutions offered by Export Bahrain, in cooperation with the Bahrain Chamber, to support the internationalization of businesses.

Moreover, the MoU will enable the seamless access of Bahrain-based businesses to regional and international markets through seminars, webinars, workshops, trade exhibitions across multiple sectors, and B2B facilitations to support the promotion of Made in Bahrain products and services and ease their access to international markets by the two parties.

“The signing of the agreement comes within the framework of Export Bahrain’s endeavor to build bridges of communication and activate fruitful and constructive cooperation with both the private and public sectors, in order to ensure the achievement of its main objectives, foremost of which is improving the efficiency of the export environment, by developing programs and providing incentives to exporters, and encouraging products of national origin in international markets and raising their competitive quality.”

Ms. Abdulkhaliq, emphasized the importance of advancing the areas of joint cooperation between Export Bahrain and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighting the advancement it will lead to in achieving the goals of sustainable development for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Dr. Abdulla Bader Al Sada, CEO of BCCI, outlined the necessity of building resilient partnerships and nurturing an environment where businesses can flourish, stating that the Bahrain Chamber is committed within this framework to expanding business opportunities in international markets. Dr. Al Sada further added that the strategy is in accordance with the Bahrain Chamber’s strategy for its 30th session which aims to enhance partnerships and the economic understanding of international markets.
