Global Glass Show concludes with focus on future of glass industry

TAB group, a leading name in B2B event organizers, has successfully hosted one of the Middle East’s innovative glass events, the Global Glass Show (GGS) Abu Dhabi on the 6th and 7th of September.

Global Glass Show saw active participation from more than 20+ countries where attendees got to witness the latest glass trends, technologies and transformations in the sector.

The show saw participation from the UAE’s Ministry of Economy and had senior delegates, officials and key decision-makers from notable organizations like the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi Quality & Conformity Council, the Council for International Accreditation of Architecture & Design, various countries’ Business Councils along with 350+ glass and related companies, 50+ sponsors and exhibitors, and 30+ speakers who came together and explored the vital growth and potential of this promising industry.

“The show’s resounding success serves as a testament to its ability to bring together diverse stakeholders, promote collaboration and drive the glass and related industries forward with unwavering determination and vision,” highlighted TAB group.

The show’s partners and attendees shared their wonderful experiences meeting with companies/stakeholders/associations of their choice and everything else from the exhibition, networking and conference area.

Emirates Float Glass (EFG), the show’s Strategic Partner said that “During the 1st day of the show, discussions took place regarding how to harness benefits from the partnerships and collaborative efforts in the sector in favor of the technological and innovative advancements in glass fabrication and other related industries.”

EFG showcased its remarkable innovations in the industry, such as the energy-efficient Vision-Cool solar glass, and Double Silver Coated Reflective Glass which are exclusively manufactured at EFG’s state-of-the-art facility with the magnetron coater.

The show also had Mr. Saleem Raza, General Manager from EFG, who was one of the eminent speakers at the show.

Technoform MEIA, a prominent exhibitor at the show, expressed their enthusiasm about the event. They highlighted GGS Abu Dhabi’s significance in providing a platform for discussions led by government and industry experts on the exciting possibilities and future applications of glass.

The show collectively explored various aspects of the glass industry and found ways and strategies to replace it with plastics as a sustainable substitute. With top cutting-edge technologies and solutions at displays – GGS was a starling event in the glass industry.

The event concluded with attendees having the best time meeting, interacting, networking and talking business with each other.
