Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), a public healthcare provider in Qatar, has secured the prestigious ‘Digital Innovation Award’ at the Google Cloud Summit Doha 2025, celebrating its efforts in leveraging cutting-edge technologies for enhanced healthcare delivery.
Held under the patronage of His Excellency Mohammed bin Ali bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the summit gathered over 1,500 industry leaders, developers, and IT professionals to explore the latest trends in AI, data, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
On behalf of HMC, Dr. Amal Gomaa Abdulla, Chief of Health Information and Communications Technology, accepted the award from HE Mohammed bin Ali bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

The summit celebrated Qatar’s digital transformation journey and its latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI). Cloud adoption by leading Qatari entities such as Al Jazeera Media Network, Aspire, beIN MEDIA GROUP, Qatar Ministry of Labour, Qatar Airways, Ooredoo Group was also highlighted at the event.
