The Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in partnership with Google Cloud, has launched the AI and Cloud Kingdom Tour, a nationwide initiative aimed at developing artificial intelligence and cloud computing skills among Saudi talent through training programs in 10 regions across the Kingdom.
The initiative with Google Cloud aims to equip participants with future-focused digital skills while supporting the Kingdom’s efforts to develop a highly skilled national workforce capable of meeting the evolving needs of the technology sector and accelerating Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation journey.
The tour will offer a comprehensive week-long training program in each city, combining virtual learning sessions with in-person practical laboratories. The hybrid format is designed to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, enabling them to apply newly acquired skills in real-world technology environments.
The program includes specialized tracks in generative AI, data analytics, machine learning, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and application modernization, reflecting the growing demand for advanced digital competencies across industries. The training content has been tailored to align with emerging technology trends and equip participants with skills that are increasingly sought after in the labor market.
Participants will receive attendance certificates, completion badges, and skill badges issued by Google Cloud, helping strengthen their professional credentials and career prospects. The initiative targets students, graduates, developers, technology engineers, IT professionals, and individuals interested in enhancing their technical capabilities.
The AI and Cloud Kingdom Tour will be held in Madinah, Buraidah, Al-Jouf, Abha, Tabuk, Dammam, Jeddah, Arar, Hail, and Najran, expanding access to advanced technology training across the Kingdom.
The program with Google Cloud highlights Saudi MCIT’s commitment to developing national digital talent and strengthening partnerships with global technology leaders to support Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals.
