Dubai Holding has named HyveGeo as the winner of the ‘Innovate For Tomorrow Impact Accelerator 2025,’ a program supporting scale-ups focused on sustainability, resource efficiency, and circular economy solutions.
Cycled Technologies was named first runner-up, while CO2Wall secured the second runner-up position. The winners were announced during the program’s Demo Day held at the Theatre of Digital Art, Souk Madinat Jumeirah.
The event was attended by Amit Kaushal, Group Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding, alongside chief executives and senior representatives from across the group’s businesses.
HyveGeo, founded by Abdulaziz Bin Redha, was selected as the winning scale-up and will receive a fully funded opportunity to pilot its desert greening solution within Dubai Holding’s ecosystem.
The company has developed biochar, a soil additive produced using a combination of climate engineering, biological processes, and artificial intelligence technologies. The solution is designed to support food security, water management, and climate resilience.
In addition to the pilot opportunity, HyveGeo received a cash award of $136,100 (AED500,000) and a one-year membership at in5, the start-up and entrepreneurship incubator operated by TECOM Group PJSC.
The company was also selected as the Top Innovator (People’s Choice), based on votes cast by attendees during Demo Day.
The first runner-up, Cycled Technologies, founded by Chief Executive Officer Ayoola Brimmo, received $68,050 (AED250,000). The Norway-based company has developed a recycling solution that automates waste sorting at source through proprietary hardware integrated into waste collection bins. The technology is intended to improve recycling processes and support resource recovery efforts.
CO2Wall, founded by Gerrit Pul, was awarded $27,225 (AED100,000) as second runner-up. The Netherlands-based company develops artificial intelligence-enabled living green walls and roofs designed to support sustainable urban development and improve environmental performance in built environments.
Huda Buhumaid, Group Chief Impact Officer at Dubai Holding, said that sustainability challenges require cooperation between businesses, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders.
Buhumaid said the Innovate For Tomorrow Impact Accelerator was established to support companies with the potential to address environmental and sustainability-related challenges through commercially viable solutions. She added that the program provides participants with access to expertise, industry networks, and practical opportunities to support their development.
According to Dubai Holding, supporting companies such as HyveGeo, Cycled Technologies, and CO2Wall forms part of its broader efforts to contribute to sustainability objectives while encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Innovate For Tomorrow Impact Accelerator 2025 attracted more than 1,400 applications from 93 countries. Following the selection process, 15 scale-ups from Norway, India, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, the UAE, and the United Kingdom were chosen to participate in the program.
The accelerator was conducted over a 12-week hybrid format between January and April 2026. Participants received mentorship, attended workshops and masterclasses, and engaged with industry specialists and Dubai Holding leadership teams.
The program provided more than 180 hours of mentorship and included over 15 sessions covering environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices; business development; market entry strategies; finance; legal compliance; and technical guidance.
Participants also gained access to potential investors, commercial partners, and pilot opportunities within Dubai Holding’s ecosystem.
The Innovate For Tomorrow Impact Accelerator is delivered by Dubai Holding in partnership with in5 and program execution partner BOLT.
The initiative supports national objectives, including UAE Centennial 2071, the UAE Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative, and the UAE Circular Economy Policy 2031 by encouraging the development and scaling of sustainability-focused technologies and business models.
