Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) has launched the ‘Imam Cloud’ business incubator, in partnership with SEA Ventures, a leading entrepreneurship and innovation company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiming to empower startups, nurture entrepreneurial talent, and drive digital transformation within the national innovation ecosystem.
The announcement to launch Imam Cloud incubator was made during the Biban Forum 2025, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at), at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, held under the theme ‘Global Destination for Opportunities’, which brought together entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators from around the world to explore emerging business trends and partnerships.
The Imam Cloud incubator aims to foster innovation and promote an entrepreneurial culture by enabling IMSIU students and staff to develop their ideas and transform them into innovative products and services.
It seeks to provide mentorship, training, and access to strategic partnerships that support the entire startup journey, from concept to commercialization, thereby contributing to the advancement of the knowledge economy, strengthening university-based entrepreneurship, and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s broader vision of digital transformation and sustainable economic growth.
Imam Cloud initiative comes as part of the ongoing efforts of IMSIU and SEA Ventures to strengthen partnerships with national and private sector entities that support entrepreneurship and innovation.
It highlights a shared commitment to enhancing the role of academic institutions in empowering national talent, nurturing creative thinking, and fostering a vibrant and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem that aligns with the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, driving economic diversification and long-term national development.
The Biban Forum is one of the largest entrepreneurial platforms in the Kingdom, focused on empowering entrepreneurs, supporting SMEs, and enhancing national economic competitiveness.
