Jazeera Airways has fully restored its India network to eight cities with the addition of Ahmedabad and Thiruvananthapuram under Project Vande Bharat.

The expansion marks a significant step in strengthening air connectivity between Kuwait and India, particularly at a time when regional travel conditions remain constrained.

The move is expected to provide critical relief to the large Indian expatriate community in Kuwait, facilitating family reunifications, return-to-work travel, and other urgent journeys.

With the new addition, the airline now operates across eight Indian destinations, complementing its existing network that includes Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kochi.

The fully restored network enhances access across major economic and population centers, aligning with strong and sustained passenger demand.

Since resuming services on March 20, Jazeera Airways has facilitated travel for more than 1,300 passengers between Kuwait and India, underscoring its role in maintaining essential mobility during a period of limited flight availability.

“By restoring our entire Indian network, Jazeera Airways marks a significant milestone—eight destinations, bringing us closer than ever to the heart of one of our most important markets. With one of the largest expatriate communities in Kuwait, this is more than connectivity; it’s about bringing people closer to home and to their families, especially as the only airline operating to India from Kuwait. In close coordination with the Embassy of India, we are proud to strengthen this vital air bridge and support the journeys of thousands who rely on it every day.”

The airline has worked closely with the Embassy of India in Kuwait to ensure the smooth execution of operations under the Vande Bharat framework. This collaboration has enabled the establishment of structured travel processes designed to enhance passenger convenience and operational efficiency.

Passengers continue to benefit from streamlined check-in procedures at designated facilities in Kuwait, followed by coordinated transfers to Qaisumah Airport for onward departures, ensuring seamless travel experiences despite logistical challenges.

Jazeera Airways confirmed that bookings are currently open through its digital platforms, including its official website and mobile application, with plans to introduce additional frequencies and destinations in phases.
