The Kuwait National Guard (KNG) has signed a contract to implement a new project aimed at developing and modernizing military databases using advanced artificial intelligence technologies, in cooperation with the Middle East Telecommunications Company.

Kuwait National Guard stated that the signing ceremony was held in the presence of Assistant Chief for Financial Affairs and Resource Management Major General Riyad Al-Tawari, along with a number of senior commanders and key officials from the resource management, information systems, and project preparation departments.

Al-Tawari stated that the project comes in line with the directives of the Kuwait National Guard leadership and aligns closely with the broader objectives of its Strategic Plan 2030, which seeks to accelerate digital transformation and significantly enhance operational efficiency, preparedness, and overall readiness in the sector.

He added that this initiative represents a qualitative and strategic shift for the Kuwait National Guard, supporting both military and administrative operations through advanced data analysis, intelligent systems, and sophisticated risk prediction tools, thereby enabling more proactive and informed decision-making.

The system is expected to improve the speed, accuracy, and overall reliability of decision-making processes, while also automating routine procedures and strengthening overall institutional performance and productivity.

The executing company confirmed that the Kuwait National Guard project will utilize advanced AI-driven solutions in accordance with the highest standards of information security, robust cybersecurity protocols, and comprehensive data governance frameworks.

Implementation of the project will be carried out in carefully planned and structured phases, including planning, development, testing, and full-scale operation, to ensure seamless system integration, long-term sustainability, and optimal efficiency across all departments and units.
