Lenovo has inaugurated its Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa (META) Regional Headquarters in Riyadh (RHQ), advancing its long-term investment strategy in Saudi Arabia and aligning its operations with Vision 2030 objectives.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mr. Fahad bin Abduljalil Al Saif, alongside senior government officials, strategic partners, and Lenovo leadership.

Lenovo also hosted a high-level visit to its manufacturing site in Riyadh. The delegation included the Minister of Investment, senior officials from multiple government entities, and CEOs from both the public and private sectors.

They were received by His Excellency Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).

During the visit, the delegation met 28 Saudi graduate engineers who recently returned from China after completing Lenovo’s Saudi Smart Manufacturing Graduate Program.

The program was delivered in partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, and ALAT.

Lenovo stated that the RHQ will serve as its central hub for strategy and operations across more than six markets in the META region.

The company also highlighted its broader investment ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, which includes an advanced manufacturing facility with the capacity to produce up to two million PCs and smartphones, a research and development center, talent development programs, and a customer experience center.

These initiatives are designed to support job creation, knowledge transfer, and long-term economic value generation in the Kingdom.
