Saudi Arabia’s NHC Innovation, the technology and digital innovation arm of the National Housing Company (NHC), has signed three strategic partnership agreements with Chinese technology companies Huawei, Lenovo, and ByteDance.
The partnerships will focus on collaboration in artificial intelligence (AI), data science, advanced digital infrastructure, talent development, and smart city technologies.
The agreements were signed in Shenzhen, China, by Rayan Alaql, Chief Executive Officer of NHC Innovation, during the official visit of Majed Al-Hogail, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Municipalities and Housing, to China.
The partners will work together to explore technology applications that can support urban planning, municipal services, and digital infrastructure while facilitating the exchange of technical expertise.
According to NHC Innovation, the agreements strengthen collaboration with global technology companies and support the development of digital capabilities for the real estate and urban development sectors.
The initiative also provides a framework for knowledge sharing and professional development in emerging technologies.
Rayan Alaql, Chief Executive Officer of NHC Innovation, said that the partnerships reflect the company’s approach to working with international technology providers to accelerate the development of digital solutions.
Alaql emphasized that the collaboration with Huawei, Lenovo, and ByteDance will enable NHC Innovation to benefit from international expertise in artificial intelligence, data science, and smart city technologies and support the development of solutions for urban management and municipal services.
Alaql added that the agreements are expected to contribute to improving service delivery, enhancing quality of life, and supporting the development of business districts by drawing on Chinese expertise in urban planning, technology integration, and investment attraction.

The visit program included meetings with senior executives of major technology companies, as well as visits to several innovation centers, data centers, and smart factories, in addition to the Longgang Smart Operations Center operated by Huawei.
The ministerial visit to China also focused on promoting technology transfer, attracting international investment and supporting partnerships that contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
NHC Innovation said the partnerships with Huawei, Lenovo, and ByteDance represent part of its ongoing efforts to expand its network of international technology partners and introduce advanced digital capabilities to the Kingdom’s real estate and municipal sectors.
