LEO Development has partnered with Rove to launch real estate projects in Oman’s Muscat and Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD) worth $780 million (RO 300 million), marking a significant boost to Oman’s real estate and lifestyle hospitality sector.
The collaboration lays the groundwork for multiple Rove projects across Oman, supporting the long-term growth ambitions of both partners and strengthening the Sultanate’s position as an emerging hub for contemporary lifestyle hospitality.
The partnership is anchored by the signing of Rove Home Muscat Expressway, the brand’s first branded residential development in Oman. The project marks a key milestone for LEO Development, introducing an internationally recognized lifestyle brand to the Omani market.
A joint venture between Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding, Rove has recorded strong regional growth, with over 8,000 units open or under development. Rove Home Muscat Expressway, the first in a series of planned developments, will be situated in a centrally located and highly connected area near Muscat Hills, offering direct access to major road networks.
The location provides close proximity to Muscat’s key business districts and urban centres, as well as the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) and Muscat International Airport.
The development will feature fully furnished one- and two-bedroom apartments and lofts, complemented by a carefully curated selection of lifestyle amenities. These include a lap pool with jacuzzi, roof garden, retail and co-working spaces tailored for modern urban living, alongside the brand’s signature Rove Café.
Under the long-term partnership, LEO Development and Rove plan to expand the Rove portfolio across city hubs, leisure destinations, integrated tourism complexes (ITCs), and free zones throughout Oman, further strengthening the Sultanate’s position as an emerging centre for contemporary lifestyle hospitality in the GCC.
