Marquee Artificial Intelligence summit GAIS to be held virtually in October

Saudi Arabia is all prepared to host the Global Artificial Intelligence Summit (GAIS) with the theme, “AI for the Good of Humanity”, from October 21-22.

The organizer of the summit Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) stated that the event will be conducted under the support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

The Global Summit will bring together experts from various global and local governmental and private sectors, including leading technology companies, investors, startups and entrepreneurs.

GIAS 2020 which aims to bring good for humanity through AI will focus on creating discussions of global significance considering the key points as recovery from the pandemic and trends framing artificial intelligence.

The summit will witness the launch of the National Strategy for Data and Artificial Intelligence of Saudi Arabia, which the country adopted in light with its aim to achieve global leadership through AI and a data-driven economy.

GIAS will address four topics regarding the AI field which includes shaping the new normal, AI and governments, governing AI, and the future of AI. Further, the event aims to present some inspirational insights regarding future requirements for regulators, investors, and companies and ideas of some successful innovators who used AI to create ease in the future of mankind.

The Global submit will further acknowledge the role of SDAIA in achieving strategic leadership in the alternative economy, partnering with various authorities to accomplish  Vision 2030.

All the events in GIAS will be conducted virtually, following the global and national precautionary measures to protect the participants and attendees from the pandemic.
