Menassah Distribution Company has strengthened its position within the UAE’s publishing industry by expanding the global visibility of Emirati authors and publishers, creating valuable opportunities for them to engage with international literary markets and establish a prominent presence on the world stage.
In early 2026, the company participated in three major cultural events: the Al Dhafra Book Festival, Cairo International Book Fair, and Damascus International Book Fair, showcasing more than 1,270 titles and emphasizing the growing global demand for Emirati and Arab literature.
At the Al Dhafra Book Festival, Menassah presented 1,212 books from 81 local publishing houses across 403 titles.
Held at Madinat Zayed Public Park in the Al Dhafra Region, the festival serves as a critical platform for promoting UAE’s publishing industry while reinforcing a culture of reading within the local community.
The Cairo International Book Fair 2026, provided Menassah with another opportunity to shine, displaying 2,250 books from 102 publishing houses across 482 titles.
The fair, which attracted over 6,600 exhibitors from 83 countries, underscores the UAE’s growing influence in the international book market. Menassah’s prominent participation highlighted the strength of Emirati cultural production, positioning UAE publishers as key players on the global stage.
The Damascus International Book Fair, one of the Arab world’s most significant cultural events, further demonstrated Menassah’s expanding role in promoting Emirati literature. The company presented 1,479 books from 49 Emirati publishing houses, showcasing a diverse range of titles in literature, science, culture, and children’s books.
