Msheireb Properties, Qatar’s leading sustainable real estate developer, has won the Smart and Sustainable Developer of the Year award at the Gulf Business Real Estate Awards and the Strategic Partnership of the Year award at the Real Estate Asia Awards, reinforcing its leadership in sustainability, innovation and strategic partnerships.
The company said in its statement that the Smart and Sustainable Developer of the Year award recognizes its pioneering approach to environmentally responsible development and integrated smart city infrastructure.
The award also reflects the continued success of Msheireb Downtown Doha, one of the world’s first fully built smart and sustainable cities, where traditional Qatari architecture is integrated with advanced technology, walkability and energy efficiency.
The company said that it received the Strategic Partnership of the Year award at the Real Estate Asia Awards for Engineering a Legacy: The Msheireb Properties and Cundall Strategic ESG Alliance, recognising the long-standing collaboration between the two organizations to embed environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into major urban development projects.
Msheireb Properties also announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Ali Al Kuwari, was named CEO of the Year by both the Gulf Business Real Estate Awards and the Real Estate Asia Awards, making him one of a select group of real estate leaders to receive the distinction simultaneously across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Asia-Pacific regions.
