Qatar’s first Islamic financial institution, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has won the “Best Retail Bank in Qatar” award at the 12th Annual Retail Banker Trailblazer Awards 2021.
According to the reports, “QIB was also recognized for three “Highly Commendable Achievements” namely, “Excellence in Mobile Banking”, “Excellence in Financing’ and “Best Loyalty or Rewards Program in the Middle East”.”
The Retail Banker International (RBI) Asia Trailblazer Awards is a platform for strategic executives to evaluate avenues for growth and innovation, offering participants an opportunity to explore, compare and decide on their future technology investments.
Further, the program is a platform for Retail banks to benchmark against global peers in areas such as customer satisfaction, innovation in product or service development, and connected digital systems. It is organized by Retail Banker International in collaboration with Arena International, UK, Middle East Economic Digest (MEED), and GlobalData.
