Qatar National Bank (QNB), the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa region, has rolled out QNB Pay, an innovative platform that enables QNB card digitization that provides cardless payments.

The new service is available through QNB’s mobile banking app which enables to make NFC payments, known as mobile contactless payment. One of the most significant features of the service is that it allows converting the traditional plastic cards or wallets to a convenient, safe and innovative customer experience by adding it into the existing digital service packages enjoyed by QNB customers.

The most innovative service of its kind in Qatar targets to keep pace with the current development in banking digitization and works to change the future of the payments’ environment.

The new feature paves the way for the development of further digital services and the adoption of other innovative digital solutions that can support the development of banking services in Qatar.

The unique service is added to the many other features of the QNB mobile banking app that meet the daily banking needs of QNB’s customers, saving their time along with offering them added security to make their payments with ease, both regionally and internationally.

QNB provides various digital services and features in its latest update of the mobile banking application, including the WhatsApp banking services available to all customers which allow them to communicate directly and easily with the customer service representatives.

The bank has also added a pre-booking service to visit branches or card centers and the MPay payment service which allows transferring within Qatar simply by entering the mobile phone number. The QNB mobile banking app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
