SalamAir has entered into a strategic partnership with Arcube, a UK-based travel technology company, to introduce integrated eSIM and e-Visa services, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing the passenger journey beyond the flight.
The initiative forms part of SalamAir’s broader strategy to deliver a seamless, technology-driven travel experience while expanding its ancillary service portfolio.
The newly launched solutions are embedded within SalamAir’s digital booking platforms, enabling passengers to manage essential travel requirements, including connectivity and visa processing, through a single interface across all stages of their journey.
As part of the collaboration, SalamAir passengers can now access Arcube’s eSIM solution, which allows instant mobile data activation upon arrival without the need for physical SIM cards.
The service provides access to more than 5,000 data packages across over 213 countries and territories.
This capability eliminates the inconvenience of purchasing and installing local SIM cards and helps travelers avoid high roaming charges.
With flexible data plans, passengers can connect within minutes of landing, ensuring reliable and immediate access to mobile services across SalamAir’s network. The solution is designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers, offering dependable coverage across diverse destinations.
e-Visa platform simplifies travel documentation
Arcube’s e-Visa platform supports applications for up to 198 nationalities, covering key destinations served by SalamAir.
The system features an AI-enabled guided application process, coupled with real-time tracking, enabling travelers to monitor their visa status with enhanced transparency.
The dynamic rules engine further streamlines the process by mapping visa requirements based on nationality and destination, providing clear guidance on eligibility, documentation, and pricing. This reduces complexity and improves overall efficiency, allowing passengers to navigate visa procedures with greater confidence.
Both services are powered by Arcube’s advanced technology platform, designed to optimize reliability and user experience. Intelligent eSIM network selection ensures connectivity is tailored to destination-specific requirements, while automation within the e-Visa system minimizes manual input and enhances application accuracy.
The partnership also supports SalamAir’s focus on modern retailing, enabling the airline to deliver more personalized, data-driven services while unlocking new revenue streams through ancillary offerings.
