The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be present at the Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) event, which will be held from September 14 to 17, in London.

Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) is a biennial defense and security trade exhibition that serves as a forum between governments, national armed forces, industry, and academics, held at ExCeL London.

According to the statement, “Saudi Arabia will be represented by key local entities such as the General Authority of Military Industries (GAMI), Ministry of Investment (MISA), Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), and the World Defense Show (WDS), under the Kingdom’s nation-wide investment brand INVEST SAUDI.”

The Saudi pavilion will extend the country’s strategic defense footprint by increasing awareness of Saudi Arabia’s military industries ecosystem, encouraging investment opportunities, and forming long-term partnerships with foreign enterprises in the field.

“Our participation in DSEI is key to enhancing Saudi Arabia’s domestic capabilities and fostering collaboration between local and foreign suppliers, resulting in swift progress toward Vision 2030’s localization targets. We are open to forming strategic partnerships that will help the military industries sector’s development and growth. We believe that working together to support our common business interests at DSEI will ensure the best possible outcomes for all involved parties.”

Saudi Arabia’s participation at the event follows the Kingdom’s latest supply chain program revealed by GAMI, the nation’s military industries regulator, enabler, and licensor. “The initiative identified 74 investment opportunities, worth nearly billions of dollars across six domains of the military industries sector,” as per the reports.

All of these opportunities are available to local and international businesses through the Military Industry Marketplace, a digital platform that connects investors with targeted localization opportunities and partners.
