Saudi to attract 60 global companies to its Startup Investment Forum

The Startup Investment Forum (SIF), which will take place from February 21 to 23, 2022 at the King Salman International Convention Center in Madinah, will bring together 60 startup companies from around the world.

The SIF is a three-day exhibition aimed at providing startups around the globe the opportunity to expand their businesses to the Saudi market and meet investors, organized under the patronage of H.R.H Prince Faisal Bin Salman, Governor of Al Madinah region in collaboration with the Economic Development Center.

The forum, which will bring together international startup companies from Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, Poland, Georgia, Greece, the USA and the UK, coming from diverse sectors such as Edutech, Healthtech, and Fintech, will include startup pitches, and workshops provided by senior executives from several entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the world.

On the sidelines of the forum, the Ministry of Investment Saudi Arabia (MISA) has issued 30 licenses for international startups participating in the event. The Ministry facilitates the entry of startups into the Kingdom by issuing their licenses at a discounted rate and supporting them in obtaining the Saudi Commercial Registration (CR) certificate after the entrepreneurship license.
