Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services and the National eLearning Center (NeLC) have signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC), marking a new chapter in their collaboration to advance e-learning and training initiatives.
The agreement aims to provide the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services with access to a wide range of shared digital educational resources, enabling it to leverage cutting-edge e-learning tools and materials to enhance training programs and skills development across its workforce.
This Saudi Transport Ministry-NeLC collaboration is designed to support the ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency and foster continuous learning.
Under the memorandum, the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services will gain access to an extensive array of shared digital learning resources. This includes a reusable e-learning content repository, open educational resources, subscriptions to both local and international courses, as well as dedicated microsite sub-platforms.
According to the statement, these resources are designed to enhance the ministry’s training capabilities and provide its workforce with valuable learning opportunities across a wide range of subjects.
Furthermore, the Saudi Transport Ministry-NeLC agreement also encompasses a range of support services, including mentoring, learning analytics, electronic certification, and artificial intelligence tools for e-learning.
These services will be delivered through the national e-learning platform, FutureX, which has already benefited over 3 million users. This Saudi Ministry-NeLC collaboration aims to enhance the ministry’s digital learning capabilities further, providing advanced tools and personalized learning experiences for its employees.
NeLC’s FutureX
FutureX is one of the initiatives of the National e-Learning Center. It aims to empower the e-learning sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by providing services and initiatives that ensure integration within the ecosystem through local and global partnerships.
