The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has concluded the Generic Drugs Conference, held under the theme ‘Empowering Local Pharmaceutical Manufacturing’, at its headquarters in Riyadh.
The Generic Drugs Conference was attended by SFDA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Hisham Aljadhey, along with representatives of regulatory bodies, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and a number of investors and academic experts.

During the closing session, speakers emphasized the need for continued collaboration between the SFDA, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and healthcare providers to drive innovation, speed up patient access to essential medicines, and incorporate industry feedback into regulatory frameworks that sustain high standards of quality and safety.
