Singapore-based Crystal Offshore to set up base in Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Port

Singapore-based Crystal Offshore, a one-stop Logistics Solution provider, will construct a base in Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Port featuring office facilities and fabrication workshops to provide advanced repairs and refits to jack-up rigs as well as marine and offshore vessels.

The new shipyard fabrication facility will cater to drilling rigs and marine assets as well as deep water vessels such as floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit and semi-submersibles.

The decision follows a 25-year agreement with AD Ports Group, a leading facilitator of global trade, logistics and industry. Under the agreement’s terms, a 20,000-square-metre plot of land and an associated quay wall in Khalifa Port will be allocated for Crystal Offshore.
