The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has granted a maritime tourism agent license to Maritime Solutions Company, a Jeddah-based firm specializing in marine services.

This move comes as part of its continued efforts to regulate, enhance, and promote a vibrant coastal tourism sector, and it reflects SRSA’s commitment to fostering sustainable tourism development along the Kingdom’s Red Sea coast by empowering qualified operators and ensuring high standards in maritime activities.

The step reflects SRSA’s commitment to organizing and enhancing coastal tourism activities as well as fostering an attractive environment for tourists, investors, and maritime operators across the Red Sea. It also aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to position the Red Sea as a leading global destination.

According to the statement, granting licenses is a core responsibility of the Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA), which oversees the regulation of coastal tourism activities. Its mandate includes issuing permits, attracting investment, identifying infrastructure requirements, and safeguarding the marine environment to ensure long-term sustainability.

The newly licensed agent will provide essential services to marine crafts such as yachts and cruise ships, facilitating and supporting their operations within the Saudi Red Sea jurisdiction.

To date, the Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has issued over 35 licenses to various stakeholders, including maritime tourism agents, marina operators, and yacht charter companies. These licenses are part of SRSA’s broader mission to strengthen the coastal tourism ecosystem, support the growth of the maritime industry, and raise service standards.

As per the statement, the goal is to deliver a world-class visitor experience that reflects the Kingdom’s ambitions for sustainable and high-quality coastal tourism.
