The third annual Agricultural Products Festival in Saudi Arabia’s Tayma Governorate has continued its wide ranging marketing and social programs with the active participation of more than 30 local farmers and exhibitors, along with several government, private, and non-profit entities.

The Tayma festival is held in support of the agricultural sector in the Tabuk Region and aims to raise community awareness about the value and importance of local agricultural production. The four-day event is currently taking place at Tayma’s Historic Wall Park, a notable venue that adds cultural significance to the festival.

Organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture’s branch in the Tabuk Region, the festival is designed to support farmers in Tayma by creating effective marketing opportunities for their locally grown products and by promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices. The initiative aligns with the broader national objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasizes food security, rural development, and self-sufficiency.

The Tayma festival has successfully attracted a large number of visitors from both within and outside the governorate, offering attendees the opportunity to explore and appreciate Tayma’s renowned agricultural diversity. Exhibits include a wide variety of premium-quality dates, freshly harvested vegetables and fruits, and pure natural honey products, all sourced from local farms.

The festival’s diverse activities include a range of educational and awareness programs tailored for both experienced farmers and agricultural enthusiasts. These include interactive workshops and specialized seminars led by agricultural experts, focusing on key topics such as organic farming methods, effective natural resource management, sustainable irrigation, and modern pest control techniques.

In addition, the event features dedicated sections for local producer families, allowing them to display and market their traditional handicrafts and homemade food products directly to festivalgoers. This platform provides vital support for small-scale producers, enhances their income opportunities, and contributes significantly to stimulating and sustaining the local economy.
