The preliminary rounds of the Entrepreneurship World Cup 2025 have kicked off with record-breaking global participation, as more than 10,000 projects were submitted by entrepreneurs from 169 countries. 

As the finals of Entrepreneurship World Cup 2025 are to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the surge in entries reflects the country’s growing leadership in fostering global innovation and entrepreneurship through world-class platforms like the EWC.

Riyadh will host the global finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup 2025, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority ‘Monsha’at’, in partnership with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation ‘Misk’ and the Global Entrepreneurship Network ‘GEN’.

The projects at Entrepreneurship World Cup 2025 include 16 key sectors, including agriculture, food industries, healthcare, social work, manufacturing, education, and information and communications technology, reflecting a diverse range of innovative solutions to global challenges.

An international jury comprising renowned experts in entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment meticulously evaluated the entries and selected the top 1,000 projects from 122 countries to advance to the next stages of the competition.

From there, 250 standout projects were shortlisted in the penultimate stage, leading to the final selection of the top 100 most promising ventures. These finalists will present their projects to an elite panel of global investors in Riyadh, where they will compete for total cash prizes amounting to $1.5 million, as well as unparalleled opportunities for global exposure and strategic partnerships.
