The UAE Accountability Authority has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with prominent audit and anti-corruption institutions in the Republic of Ecuador.

The agreements are set to enhance cooperation in audit and oversight, foster integrity, and advance collaborative efforts in the fight against corruption.

UAE-Ecuador Partnership to Promote Integrity

The first MoU was signed with the Office of the Comptroller General of the State of Ecuador, during the official visit of Dr. Mauricio Torres, Comptroller General of Ecuador, who was received by Humaid Obaid Abu Shibs, Chairman of the UAE Accountability Authority.

The Authority also signed an MoU with the Public Integrity of Ecuador, in the presence of José Julio Neira Hanze, Secretary General of Public Integrity, focusing on strengthening cooperation in integrity and anti-corruption.

These agreements underscore the UAE Accountability Authority’s dedication to broadening its global partnerships, reinforcing the core values of transparency and accountability, and promoting the development of robust audit and integrity frameworks.

By fostering international collaboration, the Authority aims to strengthen oversight mechanisms and support best governance practices, ensuring greater efficiency and accountability in both national and global contexts.

UAE and Estonia Join Forces to Strengthen Digital Governance

Recently, the UAE Accountability Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Audit Office of Estonia in order to strengthen the bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Estonia.

The agreement aims to boost collaboration in audit and oversight, promote the sharing of institutional expertise, and leverage advanced technologies to improve audit systems and digital governance. This step reflects the shared commitment of the UAE Accountability Authority and Estonia’s National Audit Office to promoting transparency, accountability, and effective audit frameworks in their countries.
