Modern Freight Company (MFC), UAE’s leading independent Logistics and Forwarding company, has launched MFC Extreme – Sports & Event Solutions, a specialized division in the MFC Group, offering event logistics and modular solutions for events across the Middle East and globally.

The Dubai-based company, established in 1977, is one of the early pioneers in providing end-to-end logistics solutions for the event industry and has handled hundreds of events over the years.

MFC Extreme further expands the company’s tailored solutions, providing unique event modular options, ideal for event retail, hospitality and media requirements, using the company’s fabrication division, MFC Concepts.

Through an exclusive regional manufacturing partnership with Hungary-based Continest, an innovative foldable container solution, MFC Concepts manufactures and supplies these containers to help reduce the events’ carbon footprint through reduced transportation, with 10 x 20ft containers being loaded per truck. Each container takes minutes to set up and can be stored on-site with minimal space requirements.

Mr. Laurance Langdon, MFC Group’s General Manager said that “Many events have been postponed or canceled amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As the events begin to return to the calendar, the timing is right to augment our sports and event solutions to meet the growing demand from clients who need expertise and experience in this niche sector.”

With many event hosts emphasizing sustainability, MFC has put together logistics and on-site solutions that are ideal for those wishing to showcase their ‘green’ qualities.

MFC, with a 50,000 sqm warehouse facility located in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), delivers an array of warehousing and distribution solutions, together with a complete range of Value-Added Services (VAS) such as promotional packaging services and a dedicated 2,000 sqm facility for non-hazardous chemical storage.
