Trackimo, a US-based smart Internet of Things (IoT) solution provider that develops the world’s most compact and cost-effective tracking devices, will unveil the ‘NickWatch by Nickelodeon’, the first connected smartwatch for children featuring the iconic characters, games, and content from Nickelodeon, during Gitex 2021.

The NickWatch uses Trackimo’s sophisticated IoT technology focused on real-time location tracking and motions sensors through a dedicated smartphone app. It is developed in a partnership with ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI) by a joint venture (JV) called WatchinU, owned by Trackimo’s parent company Vestigo Technologies Ltd and by Viacom’s Technology Investments fund.

NickWatch’s features promote a healthy lifestyle by encouraging physical and social activities through a variety of games and content that engage children’s creativity. It will be available in early 2022 in global markets and will have two interchangeable wristbands as well as a charging station that also serves as a nightstand light.

Nickelodeon, now in its 42nd year, is the most popular children’s entertainment network. It has grown into a diversified, worldwide company by prioritizing children in everything it does. Nickelodeon and all related titles, characters and logos are trademarks of ViacomCBS.
