“Within Oman” campaign launched to boost local tourism

Oman has resumed its tourism activities under a new campaign named “Within Oman.”

Under the campaign the citizens and residents in the region are encouraged to visit local resorts and hotels as the industry tries to get back on its feet after being hit hard by the pandemic.

Omran Group, the government’s tourism arm launched “Within Oman” in an attempt to enhance the tourism experience of the place.

The hotels and resorts participating in the initiative are offering accommodation packages for citizens and residents in the Oman region in a bid to promote its local tourism.

“The group’s hotels have taken all precautionary measures related to COVID-19 to ensure the safety of guests and workers in hotel facilities”, assured Hafidh bin Mahfoudh Al Hadhrami, Asset Manager, Omran Group.

He added that the tourism activities will highlight Oman’s unique natural heritage and cultural experiences while allowing local visitors to appreciate the country’s diversity.

‘Within Oman’

A total of thirteen hotels and resorts are participating in the campaign. The service provided by them are divided into 3 accommodation packages – Chill, Enjoy and Relax.

According to their preference, visitors can choose their packages from the various hotels and resorts. It includes free accommodation for 2 children under the age of 12 along with breakfast and a range of entertainment activities and tour facilities to enrich the tourism experience.

The timing of the “Within Oman” campaign coincides with the resumption of activities in different sectors with a view to accelerate its recovery and promote its comeback to a normal course, as well as the desire to maximize its contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

This campaign is an opportunity to motivate the people who are aiming to explore the diversity of the Sultanate, by providing various offers, services and experiences.
