The 12th edition of the ‘Arabian Woman Exhibition’ has kicked off at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), under the sponsorship of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum (QBWF).
The exhibition, which is being held from January 25-31, features 200 domestic and foreign booths, showcasing the works of over 140 influential female entrepreneurs from Qatar, GCC region, Turkiye, and Lebanon.
Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani, Qatar Chamber board member and Chairperson of the Qatar Businesswomen Forum, highlighted the developments and achievements of the exhibition over the years. The exhibition has emerged as a premier platform gathering Qatari designers and their counterparts from Gulf, Arab, and foreign countries to spotlight their latest innovations and designs in fashion and garments.
Chairperson also emphasized the significance of fruitful cooperation among businesswomen to drive growth. Al Ahmadani stressed that the exhibition has established itself as a leading platform for spotlighting the women’s role, achievements, as well as for exchanging experiences in the fields of design, innovation, and women’s accessories.
Al Ahmadani underscored the QBWF’s commitment to empowering women as a key driver of sustainable development. QBWF is dedicated to supporting initiatives that boost women’s participation across various sectors, aligning with Qatar’s National Vision 2030.
Furthermore, Al Ahmadani highlighted the importance of enhancing the presence of Arab women in the fields of business and investment, inspiring them to pursue entrepreneurship and contribute to the growth small and medium-sized enterprises, a key sector that fuels economic development and prosperity.
Tamader Al Marri, director of Vogue Event Company, the exhibition’s organizing company, stated that the exhibition witnessed significant development through its eleventh editions in terms of exhibits, designs, and the participating designers.
