The world’s largest independent branding arbiter Superbrands is all set to host a gala event to highlight and honor the most renowned and well-known brands.

The 18th annual tribute ceremony, which many in the business world refer to as the “Oscars of Branding,” will honor 36 of the UAE’s greatest brands this time.

The ceremony will also serve as the official launch of the 18th edition of the prestigious Superbrands UAE Book, which will include a two-page profile on each of the 2022 Superbrands.

In today’s fiercely competitive and digitally connected world, brands must forge an emotional bond with consumers in order to secure mindshare, win their trust, and eventually win their business on an ongoing basis. Branding is a strong weapon in this context.

“Branding is a complex concept that encompasses several elements and it is invaluable because it is what makes a memorable impression on customers and allows them to paint a picture in their minds on what to expect from your company. For this reason, many global corporate heads and prominent business people have frequently emphasized the importance of a strong brand. Former Coca-Cola Company CEO Muhtar Kent said it best when he said “A brand is a promise. A good brand is a promise kept”.

The SuperBrands Director further added that, “Companies that are recognized as Superbrands enjoy a significantly strengthened position in the marketplace, thus giving their respective stakeholders the confidence that they are working with a true leader in the category.”

Superbrands, the organization which has made a name for itself in the business community of the UAE as an impartial and well-respected organization over the years, will be honoring brands from a variety of industries, including consumer goods, financial services, food and beverage, healthcare, government, and retail.
