Abu Dhabi Chamber addresses economic cooperation with Armenia

Mr. Mohamed Helal Al Mhairi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Mher Mkrtumyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the UAE have discussed ways to strengthen the economic cooperation between the countries.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdullah Ghurair Al Qubaisi and Mr. Helal Mohammed Al Hameli, Deputy Directors-General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber.

During the meeting, Mr. Al Mheiri praised the UAE’s excellent relationship with Armenia, emphasizing the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s commitment to increasing cooperation between the two sides to serve the interests of businesses and investors in both countries.

Mr. Al Mheiri also mentioned the chamber’s role in empowering Abu Dhabi’s economy and realizing its economic vision by facilitating the flow of businesses in the Emirate and providing a range of exceptional services to its members, as well as solidifying partnerships between Abu Dhabi businesses and their counterparts around the world.

Ambassador Mr. Mkrtumyan expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the chamber’s hospitality and expressing his hope in increasing the exchanged visits of entrepreneurs and businesses between the two countries.

The ambassador added that such visits will enable Armenian businesses to benefit from the UAE’s economic and managerial experiences UAE considering it is an advanced hub for the best modern managerial practices in business management.

Mr. Mkrtumyan emphasized the investment opportunities in his country, as well as the government’s facilities for foreign investors and economic development plans.

Recently, Abu Dhabi Chamber has also discussed the potentials of trade cooperation, with the ambassadors of Central America to UAE.
