HE Mohammed Thani Murshid Al Rumaithi, Chairman of both the Abu Dhabi Chamber and the Federation of the UAE Chambers, has discussed the trade and economic cooperation between the countries with the Ambassador of Argentina to the UAE, HE Jorge Agustin Arambarri.

During the meeting, HE Al Rumaithi has stated that the Abu Dhabi Chamber is fully prepared to strengthen collaborative cooperation between Abu Dhabi firms and their counterparts in Argentina, as well as the level of trade and investment connections between the two countries.

HE Al Rumaithi has also highlighted Abu Dhabi’s and Argentina’s enormous economic capabilities, stating that these skills will help increase trade volume and serve the business communities of both Abu Dhabi and Argentina.

He further said that the Abu Dhabi Chamber is always striving to create appropriate business possibilities for its members in Argentina, as well as promoting Abu Dhabi’s trade and investment climate to attract more direct foreign investments.

For his part, Ambassador Arambarri praised Abu Dhabi Chamber’s efforts in using all capabilities to move the wheel of economic cooperation with his country forward.

The ambassador proposed to organize a forum for Argentinian trade missions to inform them about the available investment opportunities and the business environment in Abu Dhabi, noting that such a forum will expand his country’s markets to Abu Dhabi, especially that Argentina depends on natural resources in its food economy and its agricultural wealth and livestock. He further added that Argentina’s companies are interested in working with Emirati firms operating in the fields of innovation and technology.
