Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW) 2025 is set to kick off from April 15-17, gathering leading health and well-being leaders to drive health transformation on a global scale.
The event, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, will bring together over 200 speakers to focus on health and well-being through high-level dialogue and collaboration.
ADGHW will host speakers from various fields such as government officials, business leaders, policymakers, researchers, investors and healthcare innovators to exchange insights and explore key challenges shaping the future of health.
Notable speakers attending the event include Anil Soni, Chief Executive Officer of the WHO Foundation, Dr. Jean Kaseya, Director General of the Africa Center for Diseases Control, Dr. Nir Barzilai, Director of the Institute for Aging Research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Michel Demaré, Chair of AstraZeneca; Sir Jonathan Symonds, Chair of the Board at GSK, Jacob Thaysen, Chief Executive Officer of Illumina, Elena Bonfiglioli, Global Business Leader, GM Healthcare, Pharma and Life Sciences at Microsoft, and Dr. Tomislav Mihaljevic, Chief Executive Officer of Cleveland Clinic. These distinguished figures will be joined by health ministers from countries including Bahrain, Egypt, Nepal, and the Hellenic Republic.

This year’s event will attract over 15,000 visitors, 1900 delegates, 200 speakers and 150 exhibitors from 90 countries to facilitate knowledge exchange and forge fruitful partnerships to drive growth in global health sector.
Central to this event is the ‘Forum@ADGHW’, which serves as a global stage that gathers leaders from government, industry, research and academia to address critical healthcare challenges. The StartUp Zone will provide a platform for collaboration and innovation, offering startups the opportunity to pitch their innovative ideas to investors, with winners of the Smart Health Hackathon announced during the event.
The winners of the ADGHW Innovation Awards will also be announced, recognizing individuals and organizations that drive innovation and collaboration to shape the future of health.
ADGHW is a key government initiative from the Department of Health and Abu Dhabi. It serves as a platform for innovation and collaboration, revolving around the theme “Towards Longevity: Redefining Health and Well-being”. The event focuses on community-driven health and well-being, with a proactive approach centered around preventive, personalized, and holistic care.
Discussions and initiatives will be guided by four core themes: Longevity and Precision Health; Health System Resilience & Sustainability; Digital Health & AI; and Investment in Life Sciences.
Abu Dhabi Global Health Week 2025 will reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as a global leader in health and well-being through high-level dialogue, collaboration, and innovation among top industry experts, policymakers, and healthcare pioneers. The event will further enhance the emirate’s role as a global hub for precision health, life sciences, and transformative healthcare solutions.
