Abu Dhabi-based leading food and beverage company Agthia has revealed that the 2021 date marketing season for Al Foah, the world’s largest date receiving and processing business, has begun on August 7 and will end on October 28, 2021.
According to the company statement, prices will be applied as per Date Marketing Policy approved from season 2018 to season 2022.
The pricing policy aims to boost farmer income and provide commercial revenue stability by pushing them to promote date quality for high-valued varieties, making UAE dates among the most competitive and high-quality in the world.
Al Foah’s centers are also ready to welcome about 17,000 farmers from around the UAE and provide state-of-the-art equipment and procedures for procuring, sorting, and grading dates, according to the Group.

As per the company statement, “To enable a successful and safe experience for all attendees, preventive measures have been set to be followed at all Al Foah’s centers, including, but not limited to, providing a 7-day valid negative PCR test result on the Al Hosn application.”
