ADCCI explores boosting trade & investment ties with Turkish Ambassador

Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrui, Chairman of both the Federation of UAE Chambers and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), has discussed the possibilities of boosting cooperation relations, especially in the trade and investment fields with Mr. Tugay Tuncer, Ambassador of Turkey to the UAE.

During the meeting, Mr. Al Mazrouei emphasized the strong relations between the UAE and Turkey, pointing out that such relations are vital in driving economic development in both countries. The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Chamber.

The chairman stated that the UAE is Turkey’s largest trade partner in the region, emphasizing the need of expanding business collaboration between Abu Dhabi and Turkey.

Mr. Al Mazrouei noted that, “Abu Dhabi is one of the most important business destinations considering its attractive business environment and the incentives it offers for investors to explore the available investment opportunities in diverse sectors, including tourism, hospitality, IT, 4th industrial revolution, renewable energy, food industry, food security, and logistics to name a few.”

The chairman also highlighted the services of the Chamber and its awareness to support businesses in the emirate, emphasizing the Chamber’s commitment to increase cooperation and boost trade as well as investment relations to better serve the business community in both countries.

For his part, Mr. Tuncer commended the huge developmental growth of the UAE, stressing Turkey’s eagerness to explore the prospects for furthering economic cooperation with the UAE.

The ambassador underlined the need of working with the Abu Dhabi Chamber to increase exchanged visits between Abu Dhabi Chamber and Emirati businesses, as well as their Turkish counterparts, in order to serve their mutual interests.
