ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, the flagship venue of ADNEC Group, a Modon company, has secured five international awards at Eventex 2026, reinforcing its position as a leading global destination for exhibitions, conferences, and major events.
The center won the titles of World’s Best Sustainable Venue, World’s Best Convention Centre, World’s Best Exhibition Venue, World’s Best Sports Venue, and World’s Best Wedding Venue at the globally recognized awards program for the events and experiential marketing industry.
The recognition highlights ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi’s operational excellence, sustainability initiatives, and capabilities in hosting a diverse range of large-scale events, while further strengthening Abu Dhabi’s status as an international hub for specialized exhibitions and conferences.
The World’s Best Sustainable Venue award recognized the center’s efforts in sustainability and its operation using clean energy. The remaining awards acknowledged its excellence in hosting exhibitions, conferences, sporting events, and weddings in line with international standards for operations, customer experience, and venue management.
Eventex 2026 announced the winners of its 16th edition following a record year that attracted 1,405 entries from 58 countries. The judging panel comprised 251 experts and specialists from 43 countries, including representatives from organizations and brands such as FIFA, the Financial Times, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Salesforce, and Siemens.
The awards program recognizes excellence across multiple sectors of the events industry, including exhibitions, conferences, experiential marketing, event technology, tourism, sustainability, event production, and visitor experiences.
Evaluation criteria included creativity and innovation, planning and execution, operational efficiency, measurable results, audience engagement, and achievement of strategic objectives.
