ADNEC Group, a Modon company, and Khalifa University of Science and Technology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in innovation, education, and national events on the sidelines of Make it in the Emirates 2026.
The agreement aims to expand collaboration between the two organizations across research, technology, education, and event management initiatives that support the UAE’s innovation and knowledge economy agenda.
The MoU was signed by Humaid Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, and Prof. Ebrahim Al Hajri, President of Khalifa University, in the presence of several leaders and dignitaries from both organizations.
Under the agreement, ADNEC Group and Khalifa University will collaborate on several major events within the Capital Events portfolio.
These include the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience, Unmanned Systems Exhibition, Simulation and Training Exhibition, Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, Global Food Week, International Defense Exhibition, Naval Defense and Maritime Security Exhibition, and Make it in the Emirates 2026.
The partnership will place particular focus on education, research, and innovation programs linked to these events.

The MoU also appoints ADNEC Group as the exclusive organizer of Khalifa University’s graduation ceremonies. ADNEC Group will provide event management services aimed at delivering large-scale graduation events for the university.
