ADNOC Logistics and Services has deployed the GCC’s first AI-powered Smart Port Solution to optimise petroleum port operations, marking a major step forward in the digital transformation of the region’s energy logistics sector.
The solution streamlines resource allocation and enables real-time tracking of marine activities, which improves operational efficiency, reduces costs, and enhances sustainability across ADNOC L&S’ petroleum ports in the UAE.
The innovative solution, developed by Innovez One, a leading global provider of advanced port management information systems (PMIS), significantly reduces vessel turnaround time by up to 90 percent, effectively cutting service sourcing time from nearly three hours to just 45 seconds, thereby transforming the efficiency and reliability of port operations.
By saving 3,000 hours annually, the solution is expected to deliver $950,000 (AED 3.5 million) in operational savings by 2028. The solution also increases jetty utilization by 20 percent, improving overall port efficiency, which is projected to deliver a 10 percent improvement in vessel management.
