Ajman Free Zone has entered into separate agreements with two insurance companies in line with the efforts to expand its network and support investors, companies, and the business community.

The free zone recently signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Al Sagr National Insurance Company and the Arabian Scandinavian Insurance Company (PLC) – Takaful – Ascana Insurance (ASCANA).

With the new deals, Ajman Free Zone will be able to extend value-added, high-quality and competitive healthcare insurance coverage to its investors and their families and employees. The insurance will cover the costs of medical services, expenses for treatments and daily care in hospitals, ambulance fees, among others.

The free zone’s new MoUs demonstrate that it recognizes the importance of the insurance sector and will help bolster the confidence of investors and foreign companies, H.E. Eng. Ali AlSuwaidi, Director General of Ajman Free Zone, said. The insurance services are the latest additions to the Free Zone’s high-quality, competitively priced and easily accessible business solutions.
