Ajman Free Zone, Zajel unite to offer delivery services to business partners

Ajman Free Zone has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UAE-based leading logistics solutions provider Zajel in order to provide smart and efficient delivery services to free zone business partners.

Under the agreement, Zajel will provide free zone business partners shipping and delivery of packages around the world.

According to the statement, “This collaboration will enable AFZ’s business partners and customers to benefit from the wide range of services provided by Zajel locally and internationally, including delivery, eCommerce services, and solutions, international import and export services, as well as land, sea, and air freight services.”

“The MoU will improve the efficiency of AFZ’s value-added services and expand the range of facilities it provides to its business partners. Through this MoU, we will facilitate investors and members of the local business community with access to a wide variety of delivery and shipment services. These services will be available locally and internationally, with competitive rates and the highest levels of efficiency. AFZ will continue to expand its cooperation with its partners in the government and private sectors to establish a comprehensive system that supports investment through services and facilities, enhances the competitiveness of the local business environment and its ability to attract foreign investments, and increases the momentum of commercial and investment activities as essential pillars for a more diverse and sustainable economy.”

This move comes in line with the AFZ’s vision to expand its cooperation with partners, including service providers, government, and private institutions and companies.

Further, the collaboration intends to improve the quality of its value-added services and solutions. The agreement also reflects AFZ’s dedication to facilitating investor journey and encouraging the growth of business projects.

Mr. Yousuf Alkhaja, CEO of Zajel said that, “Under the agreement, a platform for logistics and delivery services is provided as part of the series of value-added services that AFZ offers to its business partners and customers. This platform will meet the increasing needs for last-mile delivery services. The established partnership will help realize the strategic goals of both parties to provide diverse services that meet the international standards and enhance customer experience.”
