Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, has launched a new public customer service center at Muharraq Municipality.
Starting from 17 August, the customer service center will officially begin offering its services to citizens, residents, and visitors from both the Capital and Muharraq Governorates as part of the first phase of its operations.
In addition, the current customer service office at the Capital Municipality will continue to operate, providing services alongside the newly opened center to ensure seamless service delivery.
During Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed’s visit to the customer service center, he emphasized that the initiative is a key part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency and quality of municipal services. He added that the goal is to expand the range of available services and simplify procedures by consolidating them under one roof, making it more convenient for citizens and residents.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed toured the customer service center, reviewing its technical readiness, operational setup, and the preparedness of both staff and systems to deliver services efficiently and meet public needs.
He highlighted that the center is equipped with dedicated facilities for people of determination and the elderly, alongside modern self-service systems and amenities designed to ensure comfort, accessibility, and privacy for all visitors.
Additionally, Shaikh Mohammed pointed out that most municipal services are now available online, allowing customers to complete transactions remotely. He reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to expanding its digital platforms to further enhance service delivery for citizens, residents, and visitors.
