The Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST) in the Kingdom of Bahrain has rolled out a technical initiative through the introduction of a ‘Smart Crisis Management Platform’ powered by artificial intelligence.

Designed for organizations aiming to strengthen resilience, efficiency, and business continuity, the platform addresses evolving operational challenges. It forms part of the NCST’s ongoing efforts to meet institutional needs through smart, locally developed solutions created by its AI research and development team.

The initiative reflects the center’s commitment to integration and collaboration with institutions, supporting long-term business sustainability.

Built on AI-powered virtual assistants, the platform enables organizations to manage operational challenges more efficiently and proactively. It offers real-time safety guidance, accurate tracking of employee activity and availability, and workforce forecasting for critical roles, enhancing preparedness and response effectiveness.

The platform by NCST also integrates artificial intelligence with the Internet of Things, delivering smart alerts and advanced dashboards for decision-makers. It supports predictive management of energy and water consumption and provides immediate assistance during emergencies through an AI assistant. By connecting systems, sensors, and communication tools, it improves coordination and operational integration across multiple functions.

NCST has invited organizations interested in adopting the platform to contact its team directly, noting that it is fully available to support institutional readiness and business continuity.

Dr. Abdulla Naser Al Noaimi, CEO of NCST, described the platform as an intelligent solution developed by the center’s AI R&D team, showcasing their advanced expertise. He said the achievement reinforces the role of technological innovation across diverse scenarios.

Al Noaimi added that the platform will transform crisis management by enabling a shift from reactive responses to proactive, data-driven decision-making. By leveraging AI, it accelerates response times, optimizes resource use, and strengthens organizational resilience and continuity across varying conditions.
