The Kingdom of Bahrain is set to host the ‘District 20 Toastmasters Annual Conference’ (DTAC 2025) from May 22-24, at Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), the event will be organized in collaboration with the State of Kuwait, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of Iraq.
The conference will revolve around the theme “Echoes of Excellence,” featuring international champions, keynote speakers, and specialized educational workshops. It aims to enhance the leadership and communication skills of Bahraini and Arab youth.
Toastmaster Yunus Abdulaal, Conference Chair, expressed appreciation for His Highness’s patronage, highlighting that it reflects His Highness’s commitment to empowering individuals while enhancing leadership and communication skills in both Arabic and English. The significance of supporting initiatives that foster innovation, creativity, and investment in Bahraini youth was also underscored.
Toastmaster Yasser Al Qashar, District 20 Director, also expressed appreciation for His Highness’s support, stressing that the patronage serves as a significant motivation for the youth of Bahrain and participating countries. Al Qashar also highlighted the importance of educational initiatives that develop leadership potential and national talent.
Furthermore, Al-Qashar thanked the event’s supporters, including Tamkeen (Labour Fund) as strategic partner, as well as Bapco Energies and the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), for their contributions in fostering a platform for competition and leadership growth.
