Bee’ah, the UAE’s leading integrated environmental, recycling, and waste management company, has changed its name to BEEAH Group, adopting the structure of an investment holding company and a new visual identity.
As BEEAH Group, the Sharjah-based organization is integrating its growing businesses across industries and countries, including operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and global joint ventures. Since its founding over a decade ago, BEEAH has been driven by national, regional and global sustainability agendas.
The company has been diversifying from its first core business, the waste management industry, into new sectors such as clean energy, environmental consulting, technology, and green mobility. As a sustainability pioneer, BEEAH has already achieved historic milestones, including ground-breaking firsts for the UAE and wider region.
Its waste management businesses have achieved a 76 percent waste diversion rate in Sharjah alone, the highest in the Middle East. BEEAH will soon launch its first clean energy project, the Sharjah Waste to Energy plant, targeting 100 percent waste diversion and make it the first zero-waste city in the Middle East. The plant is an initiative of BEEAH’s joint venture with Masdar.
BEEAH will shortly move into its new headquarters, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, a British architecture and design firm, integrated with artificial intelligence (AI), making it one of the most iconic, digitally enabled and sustainable buildings in the world.
