The King Abdulaziz Public Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan to strengthen joint efforts in preserving national memory and promoting scientific research.
This agreement reflects Darah’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships in documentation, archiving, and historical studies.
Darah was represented by its CEO Turki Al-Shuwaier, while the Kazakh side was represented by Director of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlanova Sagila Esimseitovna.
This initiative underscores the shared commitment of both institutions to fostering deeper cultural and academic ties through the exchange of institutional and research expertise. It also aims to facilitate the development and implementation of collaborative scientific projects, thereby promoting mutual understanding and strengthening international cooperation in the fields of history, archiving, and cultural preservation.
According to the statement, the memorandum outlines several key areas of cooperation between the two institutions.
