DEWA bags 16 awards at Ideas America Awards 2020

Dubai’s Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has secured 16 awards at the Ideas America Awards 2020, which is the largest global platform for recognizing best practices and creative ideas. Dewa won the Overall Idea of the Year award for the second year in a row.

This consolidates the status of DEWA as one of the world’s most prestigious organizations. The Annual Awards Program is intended to recognize the participation of IA (Ideas America) member workers (teams and individuals) in ideas and suggestion projects, individual achievements, and breakthrough innovation in the innovation, ideas, and suggestion system management profession.

It earned the Organizational Award and six gold awards including Best Programme Administrator, Champion of the Year, Executive Leader, Breakthrough Innovation, Safety Idea of the Year and Policing/Security Idea of the Year.

DEWA won three silver awards for Advocate of the Year, Champion of the Year and Team Idea of the Year. It also received two bronze awards for Team Idea of the Year and two KUDOS awards and two Honourable Mention awards.
