Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has won the prestigious ‘3G Championship Award for Digital Transformation 2025,’ recognizing the outstanding performance and innovation of its Internal Audit Department.
The honor was presented at the 10th edition of the Global Good Governance (3G) Awards held in Brunei Darussalam. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, received the award at DEWA’s headquarters. The ceremony was also attended by Ahmed Hassan Mohammad Noor, Vice President – Internal Audit, and other team members of the Internal Audit Department.
Organized by the UK-based Cambridge IFA, the 3G Championship Award follows a comprehensive evaluation of DEWA’s internal governance and digital auditing practices. The assessment confirmed DEWA’s alignment with leading international standards in governance, transparency, and technological advancement.
