Dubai Parks and Resorts is all set to officially launch the first Legoland hotel in the Middle East region this year.

According to the company statement, the 250-room hotel was created with children in mind and will provide families with the opportunity to visit a Lego-themed world.

The announcement follows the launch of nine new rides in 2021, including the world’s tallest swing ride, and new F&B and retail experiences at Bollywood Parks Dubai.

In 2021, Dubai Parks and Resorts also plans to open two world-first rides and thrills inspired by the Now You See Me and John Wick movies at Motiongate, as well as the region’s first wooden coaster at Bollywood Parks Dubai. The coaster will have 33 discrete moments of “airtime,” the most of any wooden coaster in the world, and will set the park’s second world record of the year, with a track length of over 1km and a top speed of 88km/h.

“Being one of Dubai’s leading tourist destinations, we’re dedicated to continually think about ways to innovate and expand our incredible theme parks. We promise amazing experiences to our guests and this year will see Dubai Parks and Resorts launch record-breaking concepts that will set the standard for theme parks in the region, and will raise the thrills at the park to new heights. It’s an exciting time for everyone as people can move around Dubai more freely, and international travelers can start to plan their trips to Dubai.”

Dubai Parks and Resorts continues to follow existing standards and accepted international trends when it comes to health and safety. Social distancing measures, contactless payment, reduced capacity in rides, stores, and restaurants, and improved cleaning and disinfection measures are all implemented in all parks.
