Dubai Municipality has teamed up with Parkin Company PJSC, the largest provider of paid public parking facilities and services in Dubai, to further enhance the region’s public parking infrastructure while contributing to sustainable urban mobility.
The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Eng. Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality, and Ahmed Hashem Bahrozyan, Chairman of Parkin’s Board of Directors.
Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, and Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin signed the MoU. It highlights both organizations’ commitment to transforming Dubai into a leading global city through effective public-private collaboration, in line with the principles of Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
Under the MoU, both organizations will collaborate across several key areas, such as developing planning and regulatory standards, streamlining permit procedures, and enabling data exchange to support service optimization.
In addition, the agreement enables Parkin to manage selected free public parking facilities owned by Dubai Municipality, expanding the company’s network of smart-parking solution offerings.

Together, they will explore opportunities for investment and development of multi-storey parking structures, managing regulated facilities, and delivering value-added parking services at key events.
Furthermore, it includes the development of unified criteria for utilizing private plots as public parking areas and identifying cutting-edge mobility solutions, including smart access and payment systems.
The strategic alliance aims to support the development of modern urban infrastructure that elevates the city’s readiness to cater to the evolving needs for smarter-parking solutions.
